Kristin Fisher joined the CNN Space and Defense Correspondent team on July 20, 2021. As a correspondent for Space and Defense Kristin Fisher is a reporter covering everything starting from NASA to the recently formed Space Force as well as commercial space firms and space tourism. Kristin was her mother was one of NASA astronauts and a space enthusiast was raised in the field. She served for five years in the position of White House correspondent for FOX News covering space policy under the Biden and Trump administrations. Kristin received her Bachelors in Science in Journalism from Boston University. She lives with her husband at Washington, D.C., and is the mother of a 3-year-old daughter.
